Jason joined the Talent Match team in June 2014. He is responsible for coaching 18-24 year old unemployed people for 12 months or more. This includes supporting their entry to work, education or training. He also helps clients build their confidence and discovers the skills they have which they might not be utilising.
Prior to working at Groundwork, Jason worked both at schools and with adults providing careers and employment advice and guidance so he is perfectly placed to support young people.
Highlight of the role: “The creativity and time allocated to each client allows for a completely different way of working from any other organisation, leading to great working relationships and the ability to tackle barriers perceived by clients”.
Why Groundwork South Yorkshire is great: “I have a great manager (really!) and I like Groundwork’s environmental and community ethos. It makes me genuinely want to support all projects the charity has because it feels like a proper team”.
