Money Matters Programme

Money Matters Programme is a new programme for unemployed people, who live in South Yorkshire including: Sheffield. Rotherham, Doncaster and Barnsley. This free programme is funded by the Natwest Skills and Oppportunities Fund.

Our free Money Management Programme aims to remove financial barriers and help you get more for your money.

Qualified staff will guide you through the money maze, allowing you to plan your own budget. They will help you understand how door-step lenders work against you, how to find the best solution for you and take control of your finances.

Our free Introduction to Business Finance session will  help you understand the basics of business finance. In our friendly and interactive session we will help you understand the following:

  • Basic finance terminology
  • How to manage your business finances
  • Compliance responsibilities of a sole trader/ limited company with HMRC/Companies House
  • What is in a cash flow
  • How to register as self- employed and  a limited company

You will then have the opportunity to work with an Enterprise Coach  in 1-1 capacity to register your business and create a cash-flow for your business. The session will be in an easy to understand format with multiple opportunities for question and answers.
