BS8555 – We are committed to reducing our impact on the environment, and monitor our performance using this accredited environmental management system. Groundwork Sheffield have achieved Phase 3 accreditation, which requires an annual assessment.
The Contractors Health and Safety Assessment Scheme (CHAS) – Groundwork Sheffield is CHAS accredited. CHAS is established as the market leader for health and safety pre-qualification in the UK. It is a non-commercial scheme available to suppliers (those who provide goods and services) and to organisations (buyers) looking for suitably competent suppliers.
Investors In People – Staff development is one of our top priorities, and this national standard helps us to ensure we’re maintaining high standards.
Matrix – Groundwork Sheffield is Matrix accredited. The matrix Standard is the unique quality framework for the effective delivery of information, advice and/or guidance on learning and work. It promotes the delivery of high quality information, advice and/or guidance by ensuring organisations review, evaluate and develop their service; encourage the take up of professionally recognised qualifications and the continuous professional development of their staff. The purpose of the matrix Standard is to provide a benchmark for organisations to assess/measure their advice and support services which ultimately support individuals in their choice of career, learning, work and life goals.
SFEDI Centre of Excellence – GWS is a SFEDI Centre of Excellence. SFEDI Awards Centres and Centres of Excellence are a network of approved centres that can offer qualifications that are nationally recognised and part of the national framework. These Centres provide a range of SFEDI Awards qualifications that focus on:
• The individuals providing business support and will offer development, assessment and accreditation for Advisers, Mentors, Coaches and Trainers;
• The needs of entrepreneurs and those seeking self employment in the different stages of development of their businesses
ISO 9001 Certification - GWS attained this in 2014. ISO 9001 is a quality management system which will provide a framework to monitor and improve performance. Leading to cost savings through improved efficiency and productivity, less waste and disruption and increased opportunities in the market place.
Groundwork South Yorkshire welcomes disabled visitors. Our Dearne Valley office is fully accessible to disabled employees and visitors. Our Sheffield office is not, however we will gladly make alternative meeting arrangements to accommodate the needs of any disabled visitors.
