On Sunday, Rabbit Ings Country Park hosted the annual summer gala and fun dog show!
The day was a mix of fun and games for the kids, food stalls, craft stalls and much, much more.
However, one of the undisputed highlights and potentially the main attraction is the fun dog show!
The dog show costs £1 to enter and all the proceeds go to Barnsley and District Animal Welfare. Dog show classes included Cutest Pup, Golden Oldie, Waggiest Tail, Dog That Looks Most Like Owner and Best Trick!
We caught up with some of the competitors and also had a looks around some of the stalls.
And here were some princesses that popped down for the day, enjoying the park and having one too many photos taken!
The huge variety of crafts, plants and food on offer was something to behold! The gala really showcased local talent and gave the community a chance to come together and find out what everyone is up to!
And just in case any trouble kicked off, LAPD cops popped down to keep an eye on the gala, pose for photos and eat a box full of doughnuts!
And finally, the Groundwork team was out in full force! Here is Tom, who was sawing up wood to make some bug houses and hotels!
A great day was had - the best gala ever, according to many!
So thank you so much to everyone who came and here's to next year!
