Job Title: Temporary Community Engagement Coach – Lottery & European Social Fund, Funded, Building Better Opportunities Programme – Doing Good Business
Purpose of Job: To engage and work with a diverse caseload of unemployed adults, most of which are are 50+ in age range and may have a range of barriers to finding employment e.g long term health problems, disabilities, skills and confidence etc. The majority of clients will be people who are not already engaged in a support provision. The role will involve coaching them with all aspects of their self-development, education, employment, enterprise and training needs.
Salary: £23,000 - £26,000 depending on experience
Contract Duration: Initial 4 weeks temporary contract to cover a period of absence. May be extended subject to requirements.
Hours: 37 hours per week, Monday–Friday, also to include occasional evening and weekend work as and when required.
Location: Outreach locations throughout the Sheffield City Region. (Primarily Sheffield, Doncaster, Barnsley & Rotherham).
