What's involved?

1. Arrange an Induction Meeting with the Community Engagement Officer to discuss your eligibility, goals and aspirations

2. Subsequent Engagement Meetings with you to move you towards the world of training, education, employment or enterprise

We can support you with:

  • Employability Skills: CV writing, interview techniques, job searching, exploration of opportunities
  • Employment Opportunities: signpost you to different jobs that are available, training courses for various industries, 
  • Enterprise / Working for yourself: help with initial stages of self-employment, referral to appropriate support
  • Training & Education: training courses for various industries; educational courses including literacy, numeracy and ICT
  • Work Skills & Experience: building confidence through work placements; introduction to companies; 
  • Vocational Barriers: training courses 
  • Personal Barriers: better off calculations; budgeting and finance; health; confidence and self-esteem 

Please be aware that this is a voluntary programme and is not linked to the Job Centre. This programme is also flexible in terms of your needs, requirements and your programme journey.
